Beosys, known for its ERP software for toolmaking, was founded in 1986 with company headquarters in Isselburg/Werth. The first part of the current company building with about 1000 m² office space was then built in 2000 in the Technology Park Bocholt. After the expansion in 2010, 1000 m² of office space are available there. Further offices for user support were established in 2011 in Seevetal for Northern Germany, in 2013 in Würzburg for Southern Germany and in 2019 in Leipzig for Central Germany. The basis of the success was and is the complete user support from a single source. This begins with project planning, which is handled by qualified sales staff. Project managers with many years of experience in this area accompany the introduction of the software. And experienced employees are also on hand to support the user during the subsequent support phase.

ERP software at the cutting edge of technology

The ERP software for toolmaking from Beosys is programmed using the latest software development tools. Based on a Microsoft SQL database, it runs under the Windows operating system, and also in parts and, depending on the need, in the browser on desktop computers, PDAs, tablets or on smartphones. The software maps all commercial and technical areas and also the associated interfaces of the divisions in the mechanical engineering and metalworking sectors. The specific requirements of the individual divisions, regardless of whether they are single-part, small-series or series manufacturers, have been developed, implemented and constantly optimized by the software developers in cooperation with their users over decades. The result is ERP software that is optimized for each division and solves all requirements down to the last detail.

Adapted to the needs of toolmaking

In intensive discussions with employees from innovative tool shops, the software experts have optimized their Beosys ERP system for the requirements of the tool shop. In this way, they have created an overarching organizational system that links all the software used in the company into a single whole. This creates a continuous workflow across all processes. End-to-end parts tracking across the entire manufacturing process also gives users the ability to directly identify the effects of scheduling and technical changes in the ERP software for toolmaking. And this is independent of whether the change was caused internally or by the customer.
