Hydroforming/AHU tooling and the manufacture of parts from hydroforming/AHU tools is another specialty of µ-Tec. So far, only a few specialists have mastered this manufacturing technology. It is also playing an increasingly important role in vehicle development. Whether it is camshafts or exhaust systems, the specialists use high-precision tools to ensure the conditions for successful series production. µ-Tec not only builds these tools, but its specialists are also available for service calls. In addition, comprehensive quality assurance ensures that only tools with the highest precision and best functionality go into production.

Sustainability is important to those responsible. Especially since there is an acute need for action due to the effects of climate change. For this reason, the company very consciously focuses on the considered use of resources. For example, on an intelligent and sustainable heating concept that uses the heat from the producing machines by means of heat recovery. In this way, the company achieves the required temperatures within the corporate complex. Heating is thus virtually provided by the machines and the air circulation. This enables large annual energy savings, and the company can drastically reduce its use of fossil energy.

Value-oriented approach to sustainability in tool and mold making

A photovoltaic system also helps µ-Tec to produce even more sustainably and contribute to reducing its ecological footprint. In order to continue successfully on this path towards value-oriented tool and mold making in the future, µ-Tec is also a member of the Saxon innovation cluster HZwo. This association links the scientific and economic findings on the topics of fuel cells and green hydrogen.
